Beware of the Dog

I don't know how many of you have seen the movie Lord of War but i have to say, first it was an eye opener. the basic synopsis of the movie is Nicholas Cage is an arms dealer (which means he sells guns). He doesn't discriminate in the movie AT ALL he sells guns to every nation even nations that are at war with his own country. He actually says in one scene and i quote "I realize now that people go into the restaurant business because people will always need to eat, just like people will always need guns to kill other people", yea i know thats good that he made that connection right?...... anyways there was another quote that really stuck out to me because whenever i watch movies i like to find things that relate to God. his brother in the movie ( which is played by jared leto the lead singer from 30 seconds to mars, a great band) is a cook at their parents restaurant. one day nicholas cage goes to visit his brother at the restaurant and their is a sign on the wall that says, BEWARE OF THE DOG. to which Nicholas Cage says "did you get a dog"to which his brother says " no thats up there to remind to not wanna f*!$ everything that walks, or do every drug possible, reminds me to more". pretty self explanatory but awesome form of straight jacket fashion, we should all beware of the dog (animalistic) side in all of us. It separates us from God and puts us in charge and hurts our relationship with God because he didn't create us to be animals he created us above that to be rational and seek his guidance in our choices. just a thought though take it for what its worth to you and have a nice day.........and BEWARE OF THE DOG.!
